This is my section and I will explain a little about myself here.

A recent (comparative to my many years) change in occupation now sees me teaching ICT to 16-19 year olds at Wakefield College, after what seemed a lifetime (26 years) in Telecommunications.

I started as a field engineer, progressing through the installation ranks, the test ranks and moving into Transmission. A progression into management and the eventual collapse of the Telecomms market saw me looking for a change of career direction.

I always had an interest in Computers and the teaching of others, Further Education seemed like a good idea at the time. So after taking redundancy I embarked on a path of re-education, after a false start by not being in time to start at University I looked for some part time work whilst I attended part time at Wakefield College on a JEB ICT Tutors course.

This led on to a full time Certificate in Education at Huddersfield University, which was successfully completed in Summer 2004. I was then successful in landing a job at Wakefield College, where I have just completed an 'eventful' first year.

9/8/05: A third defeat, and a third lifeless performance against a limited Huddersfield Giants has had me depressed as I write.
